In Sex and Politics e-book, and www.sexandpoliticsbook.com, I noted that Grover Cleveland was probably the fattest, and had a bath tub installed in the White house that some said could accommodate an elephant. President Grover Cleveland also has the distinction of being the only U.S. president ever to serve two non-consecutive terms, the only candidate to defeat and lose to the same opponent. After serving one term Cleveland was defeated by Republican Benjamin Harrison in the elections of 1888. In the 1892 presidential election Cleveland defeated Harrison and returned to office for another four-year term. It seems President Cleveland had a number of other peculiarities, Cleveland became the first and only president to wed in the White House, and he was 49, she 21, which was the largest age gap between husband and wife among presidents. Pictured on the U.S. $1000 bill, Cleveland is the only president on government issued currency displayed in a casino in Las Vegas. He was first president to successfully hide a serious medical condition. He was the only president to have a candy bar named after his daughter, though some historians give the honor to baseball slugger Babe Ruth.

Reality cannot be ignored, except at a price
In my book Sex and Politics, I examined the consequences of politicians who fail to recognize the reality of the consequences of their political sex scandals. Fortunately the price of their consequences falls squarely on them. It’s far different for politicians to engage in dogmatic Political ideologies when they must know that they are wrong, and would result in a penalty in which everyone would have to pay at a terrible price. “Reality cannot be ignored, except at a price and the longer the ignorance is persisted in, the higher and the more terrible becomes the price that must be paid.” (Alddous Huxley) The reality is that those politicians, who continue to insist on voodoo economic remedies that failed measurably in the past either don’t care, are ignorant of the past, or worst of all are deliberately destroying our country. On Friday, Standard and poor (not so poor?) downgraded the good faith and credibility of the Government, saying in effect our politicians can’t govern, and have ridicules economic ideas. As I write this the stock market has dropped almost 5%, after its fall of 3% before its close on Friday. Doesn’t this tell the Republicans’ and their Tea Nut superiors something is amiss?

Too much sex and too much politics
In the e-book Sex and Politics and on my web site http://www.sexandpoliticsbook.com, the emphasis is on the damage politicians do to their careers and themselves when they become meshed in political sex scandals. The book and web site are naked attempts, pun intended, to interest readers in the sexual antics of politics. It’s simply because politicians live in the public arena that their sexual peccadilloes make the news, “If it bleeds it reads”. Politicians sex lives are probably only of real interest to voyeurs, and certainly wouldn’t be of much interest to viewers of porno. The actual narrative is that sex is the most popular activity in the entire world! There is no need to conduct a survey to determine if men and woman enjoy sex at some time in their lives, Fornicating Under the Crown King is the number Uno sport anywhere on earth; Its’ also the only activity that that results in more players after the game.

Tea Nuts and the Republican Nuts
In Sex and Politics e-book and on sexandpoliticsbook.com I considered the sexual political scandals of American politicos as an aberration, foolish, and stupid acts by men and woman driven by sexual desire. In most instances the people caught up in these political sex scandals were decent grownups behaving like children. It’s rare for children who misbehave to do so out of truly wicked intent. But that’s not the case with our current crop of Tea Nuts and Republicans lawmakers; I justly believe they are as FDR said in his 1936 campaign”…..desperate men with their backs to the wall (who) would descend to suggest that funds collected from workers would not be available when they retire”.

They are not stupid –Just avaricious
On the web site Sex and politics book, I usually concentrate on our politicians sexual misbehaviors, overlooking their sometimes seemingly stupid behavior.
I know that the Republicans are not stupid, just avaricious. They are following the commands of their money masters, like puppets they move the direction their puppet masters move them. Hooray, congratulations, so far, they are winning the hearts and minds of our countryman! They are managing to shift the U.S. backward to a third world category. They have won not by brutal suppression of the people. There are no tanks rolling down Main Street, no images of bedraggled children begging in the street, or shantytown constructions around the capital. Not yet, but if the right thinking tea loonies press on we might make the dishonor roll of dropping further down into the abyss. But I come not to bury us, but to praise the geniuses of convincing Americans to drink the cool aid.

Job Creators
The term “Job Creators” has been bandied about during the debt crisis congressional extravaganza this last couple of weeks. Politicians, especially on the right love the talking point job creators to paint the positive image of Billionaires who pay less in percentage of taxes than their secretaries as superb paradigms of how lower taxes generate jobs, They know that that is purely a pipe dream!
As I wrote in my e book Sex and Politics, Politicians recognize that the political campaign donations they receive are great job creators for themselves and by, hiring their family and friends. For example, there was former New Jersey Governor James McGreevey, who resigned over his hiring of his Israeli poet boy friend, McGreevey came out of the closet after the political sex scandal forced his resignation, and became Americas first openly gay Governor.

The Republican presidential hopeful stated in answer to questions about her husband’s and her Christian counseling clinic which attempts to change gay patients thru prayer. A former patient who sought help from the Christian counseling clinic was advised that he could stop himself from having homosexual urges, by “reading the Bible, and praying to God. He was told that” I would no longer be gay, and God would forgive me.” Being gay is obviously an illusion and counterfeit.

This is nuts. He thinks that standing naked with a hard on would be the perfect advertisement that he was hot and ready. She opens the door to the hotel room and calmly ignoring the naked guy standing there, prepares to clean the room. As political sex scandals go this one is really, absolutely, NUTS!
Perhaps Dominique Strauss –Kahn, the now former the head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and considered to be a leading candidate for the 2012 French Presidency, a guy who earned well into the six figures, clearly could of afford the hooker services available to any patron of any of the top of line expensive Hotels in Manhattan. True hooking up with a prostitute could be threatening, as I wrote in my web site sexandpoliticsbook.com, Eliot Spritzer, the former governor of New York was forced to resign when charged with a federal crime of paying for a hooker to cross state lines. Wu –That’s’ Bazaaro
If they weren’t so busy trying to accomplish bazaar things to our economy and government, I guess most congressman would dress in bazaar costumes and spend some quality time corresponding with barely legal young ladies. As political sex scandals go, former Congressman David Wu didn’t set the standard for bazaar behavior, or bad taste, in a political sex scandal, when you consider some of the other politicos’ sexual scandals, for example former Senator Larry Craig’s toilet escapades.

When our forefathers were proud to announce that “George Washington slept here” they were not only saying where he slept, but with whom and as there were no blogs, George Washington did not become the “first fornicator in chief”..
